• Nov 29, 2013 · It's because I am setting up a Web Application Firewall but I can do this via FQDN if using IP addresses is not recomended. Authentication is setup on the IIS site and when connecting to the site name "sharepoint" it works and I can login but the AAM I created "sharepoint.domain.local" constantly prompts for credentials even after entering them numerous times.

• This is the default behavior for our organization (running SharePoint 2013). Each day the user has to supply credentials to 'Open with Explorer'. Once successful you can open any other Library without issue but it will reset the next day.
• May 08, 2015 · I have Sharepoint 2013 Foundation and the DB and everything else is currently installed onto one Windows 2008 R2 server. We do not have a heavy user base yet. The problem that I'm running into is that we have people who uses Mac and Windows. When the Mac user using Google Chrome to access Sharepoint, it keeps asking for user credentials.
• Jul 04, 2019 · What doesn't work: The web app can't make REST API request to SharePoint using the SAML token received from ADFS for the web app. We have tried to use that SAML token to request another one from ADFS for SharePoint on behalf of the user signed in. That did not work either. As well, SharePoint 2013 on-premises may not accept an on behalf of request.

• A user changed their password through OWA over the weekend. When they came in on Monday and opened Outlook it prompted for a password. Problem is it will not accept the password. I have tried resetting the password, checking for stored passwords, deleted the mail profile (now I can't recreate it), tried on another PC.

When I provide my organization's credentials, it says incorrect credentials. When I provide my live account credentials, it does not accept it and asks me to re-enter the credentials.

You go into Central Administration, select Manage Web Applications, click in the whitespace to the right of the web application name you want and in the ribbon click the Authentication Providers option.
